Sophia & Demiurge in Walnut Wood + My Journey into Video Editing

It’s funny how many new and unusual things you have to master when you run your own business.
At first, you’re no longer satisfied with photos taken on your phone, so you start learning a proper camera and discovering all the creative possibilities that different lenses offer. Then you need a tripod, then you move on to backgrounds and proper lighting. And now I’ve finally reached the stage of learning the basics of video editing…
Not everything comes easily when you’re already over 40. Especially difficult is remembering which background music YouTube will allow you to use and which it won’t. Honestly, creating this video was not even half as hard as trying to figure out YouTube itself. Everyone does everything on their phones these days, and it feels like the modern world is completely unprepared for PC users.
And what about the statues of Sophia and the Demiurge? They were carved from walnut wood that grew in my friend’s backyard. When he cut the tree down, I got a small piece of the timber and managed to preserve this beauty as a keepsake for myself.
