About me

Welcome.
My name is Andrey Kaukin, and I create hand-carved wooden artworks inspired by mythologies, symbols, and ancient traditions from around the world.

Having shared my art on Etsy for more than seven years, I'm excited to now welcome you to my very own online home.

Each piece you see here is carved by hand in my workshop in Eastern Europe. My work is not mass-produced and not factory-made. Every sculpture is shaped slowly, with careful attention to form, balance, and detail.

Philosophy

My goal is simple: to create objects that feel timeless.

I am not affiliated with any religious or mystical practice. For me, mythology is a source of artistic inspiration - stories, archetypes, and symbols translated into wood. I focus on precision, complexity, and craftsmanship, pushing each piece to its natural limit.

Quality is not an option - it is the foundation of every work.

Materials & Craft

I primarily work with ash wood, chosen for its strength, fine grain, and expressive character.
Each sculpture is finished using a traditional blend of linseed oil and beeswax, applied in multiple layers. This natural finish enhances the wood’s texture and provides lasting protection while maintaining a soft, satin surface.

No two pieces are ever exactly the same.

Care & Use

These artworks are designed for indoor display.

While the natural finish offers protection against humidity, the sculptures should not be placed outdoors or exposed to prolonged direct sunlight. Proper care will allow the piece to age beautifully and remain part of your space for many years.

Processing & Shipping

All pieces are made to order.
Processing time typically ranges from a few days up to 10 business days, depending on complexity.

Orders are shipped worldwide via UPS, chosen for its reliability and secure international delivery. A tracking number is provided once your order is dispatched.

A Personal Note

When you purchase from this studio, you are supporting independent craftsmanship and a direct connection between the artist and the collector.

If you have any questions about a piece, materials, or care — feel free to get in touch.
